Isklar leads the way in stylish living with a new listing in Whole Foods
Isklar Norwegian Glacial Natural Mineral Water continues to make a splash in the premium retail category with a new listing in Whole Foods which will be supported by in-store sampling, a series of displays throughout Summer and an eye-catching window display.
Isklar will be available in Whole Foods, the world’s largest retailer of natural and organic foods, as the brand makes a further impression in the minds of increasingly health aware and environmentally conscious consumers.
Isklar CEO, Peter Krogh says, “Whole Foods is an organic fit for an everyday premium brand like Isklar. Both brands are innovative and forward thinking and are committed to providing the highest quality of product for the ethically minded shopper.”
Both a CarbonNeutral® product and company, Isklar’s listing in Whole Foods reinforces their exemplary green credentials and reminds the water category that Isklar is committed to being the most environmentally responsible water brand in Europe. 100% Hydro-electricity powers the bottling plant, in the remote wilderness of Norway’s Hardanger region, producing zero emissions and Isklar recycles ten bottles for every one it sells through the group plastics facilities.
In recognition of its unique brand identity and superior environmental credentials, Isklar was awarded a total of three Water Innovation Awards in 2008; receiving gold in the Best Overall Concept and silver in both the Best Environmental and Best Newcomer categories.

Whole Foods will stock Isklar’s 1.5l singles, 700ml sports bottle and 500ml singles.
Isklar, meaning ‘ice clear’, originates from a source dating back to 1200, and is set deep within the breathtaking and enchanting wilderness of Norway’s Hardanger region – one of Europe’s most pristine landscapes.
From this dazzling backdrop of soaring mountains and cascading waterfalls, Isklar water trickles naturally through glacier ice to emerge at just three degrees centigrade.
